Since Cybershadow is moving epic40k site to a new server you may encounter some trouble trying to download Warp Rift over the coming 2-3 weeks.

Warp Rift announces a scenario contest on the following (very short) summary:

In the latest Tau codex there is a story about Commander Shadowsun leading a Tau fleet defeating a Tyranid fleet without having a single loss in her fleet.

Above mentioned thread discusses the possibility of that and gives some historical (real life) facts.

The contest is to develop a cool scenario on above scenario where it should/could be possible for the Tau to defeat a Tyranid fleet without a single loss (or as few as possible). Originality is praised and no-brainers won't last (eg 100 Tau ships vs 1 Nid ship).

The schedule for the Battlefleet Gothic Painting Competition has a start date of 1st May.

I assume that people are still interested in this running?

Do people have suggestions for prizes to be won? We need at least two. One for the painting contest winner and one for the Conversion Prize winner.

Now if we manage to receive a third prize donation then we can opt to introduce a third catogory this year: The Fleet Competition. Although the guidelines for this need be set first.

The other two categories will run the same as last year.

And yes, I will organize this years competition alongside Cybershadow. :)

Ships of the Moment

With this I want to create upcoming Warp Rift articles dealing with specific ships. What I’d like to receive are opinions, tactics, criticism, praise, etc on 4 vessels each time. After 2 or 3 months I will add new ships and close these ones.

So what you write a vessel is up to you but I’d like to see the following two items filled:

‘in-game rating’ : how good or bad do you think the vessel is, rate between 1 and 10 stars
‘model rating’ : how cool (or nor) do you think the actual model looks, rate between 1 and 10 stars.

You may do these votes without giving comments if you wish. Though I really appreciate comments.
